TripLift is designed to enhance the TripIt website while keeping your information private and within its intended boundaries.
Security by design
No additional browser permissions
TripLift does not request access to browser history, downloads, bookmarks, or unrelated websites.
TripIt-only access
The extension runs only on www.tripit.com. It communicates with TripIt through the same signed-in browser session you are already using.
No analytics or tracking
TripLift contains no advertising, analytics, tracking code, or third-party data services.
Data access
TripLift reads itinerary information from TripIt only when needed to provide its features. Requests stay between your browser and TripIt’s own website. TripLift does not send your itinerary or personal information to the developer or to a third-party server.
Data storage
TripLift stores its preferences locally in your browser on the TripIt website. It does not maintain a separate user account or external database containing your TripIt information.
Credentials and account changes
TripLift does not request or store your TripIt password. It uses the active TripIt session already maintained by your browser and does not independently sign in to your account.
Browser-store review
Public releases are distributed through supported browser extension stores and are subject to each store’s review process.
